Would be good to have a backgrounder more broadly on why betting on sports in particular is a problem (why baseball is so set on preventing Pete Rose from being in the Hall of Fame, for example). And what the surrender to gambling might do to sports.
I wish I could say this surprises me but that's not the case. Disappointed, for sure. It's a pervasive addiction that will go untreated because there are billions at stake. For me, just trying to enjoy the game of baseball that I love is getting harder and harder!
